Sergio Santiago never knew how much he was loved. He died while in my womb, but I carried him seven months. Though devastated to have lost my son, I had to overcome this traumatic experience and move forward. My existing daughter needed her mother. Breaking through the sadness and depression wasn’t easy, but I was motivated by the thought of caring for others as a way to honor the memory of my son. That’s how The Sergio Foundation was born.
We focus on creating a safe place people can come, where they know they are loved and cared for. Our donors and volunteers help us touch lives by providing toiletries, food and clothing to the homeless and less fortunate in order to help them live a better life. We honor the memory of Sergio by helping others step into the light of a new day.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
